So what classifies the RYO shops as manufacture’s? Their machines? If that is that case they really need to re-evaluate what they are talking about because no one is manufacturing anything. Also, if they are classifing them as manufacture’s because of the machines then does that mean that you cannot purchase the personal RYO machines anymore as well as the filters and tobacco because you will then be considered a manufacturer under their eyes. They really need to get a grip on reality and realize that they are messing with people’s lives and putting people out of business. I believe that it was Obama who said that consumer’s should start new businesses with new ideas and the moment people do…bam shut down. Now what kind of message does that send? To me it sends the message that oh, you can, but be forewarned that you might get shut down because some other BIG company does not like what your doing so we are going to make up some bullshit that requires federal attention to shut down your company. I mean really…what kind of government do we have if they are not willing to go to bat for the little guys?

The Beeotch got the law passed and hundreds of people lost their jobs last week in Tennessee when dozens of small tobacco stores where ordered closed. Way to go Rep Black! Now she is on TV saying that Congress shouldn’t get paid until a budget is passed. How stupid does she think her constituents are? Well, actually, they are.

Most of what Congress/President does, is not law but only statute acting under color of law. Learn your rights and know how to deal with this. What they are doing is not law or lawful.

If we concede now the battle is lost and Big Tobacco and Big Business wins. We did nothing wrong, and government shouldn’t be able to change the rules to the game to suit their wants and needs, especially when their pockets are lined with the money of the opposition. Continue to fight, sign the petition.

You’re forgetting they actually own SABMiller brewing company, too. A lot of popular beer lines – Miller, Coors, Molsen, Milwaukee’s Best and so on.

The irony in all this ? How many members of the House or the Senate have ever been in or seen a cigarette manufacturing factory. How many do you think ever visited an RYO shop in their own state? I would wager only a handful. The only thing they know about mfg is the color of the $$ Big Tobacco makes as a campaign contribution.Face it, all of congress is corrupt. They sell their influence and vote to the highest bidder. It’s so sad to see 99% of Americans are so blind to the erosion of liberty as our founding fathers intended. Even if some Federal judge strikes down the law, the states will keep piling on the taxes. The RYO industry will have to move now in a different direction. Some business models die and have to be replaced by others. It’s a fact of life. I will find a new way.
